Special Needs Program

Cleary School for the Deaf provides services for children with additional challenges and hearing loss. In a small student-to-staff ratio classroom, each child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) is explicitly embedded into the curriculum in both small and individual learning opportunities.  

Cleary’s program focuses on every child’s individual language development using multiple modalities such as Listening and spoken language, ASL, signed English,  augmentative and alternative communication devices. The program is designed to prepare our students for future independence.
