Instructional Director - Alise Becker-Santa
I started my career within the New York City Public Schools. I have had the experience of teaching grades Pre K through 6 before becoming an administrator. I was Principal at P.S. 202 in Brooklyn, NY before moving onto East Islip. There I served as Principal at Ruth C. Kinney Elementary School, a grade K-6 school at that time, and then became the Principal in the East Islip Middle School, grades 6 – 8. My experience at the district level afforded me the opportunity to get to know instructional materials and programs that are beneficial to various types of learners. I have been recognized by those I have worked with over the years as a true educational leader and champion for children. I am very proud of this.
Very recently I was selected as the Administrator of the Year, by the New York State School Counselors’ Association. This is a recognition I am quite proud of as I was recommended by those who I have worked alongside.
In the months ahead, it is my goal to get to know each of our students and their families. I am here to support the staff and our students as we encourage them to reach towards new and exciting milestones and accomplishments. I can be reached at (631) 224-2160 or email@example.com
