Cleary Students make snow flakes to support students at Sandy Hook Elementary - Newton, CT

Before the 2012 winter recess members of Connecticut's Parent Teacher Student Association
requested homemade snowflakes for students of Sandy Hook Elementary School. Sandy Hook parents and staff wanted to create a winter wonderland for the students of Sandy Hook elementary.
"[Parents] wanted to do some kind of student art project to have other students contribute to their new school and it finally came down to a snowflake," Marne Usher of CT PTSA said. When the Sandy Hook students returned to school the paper snowflakes  were placed inside their new school in Monroe, CT welcoming their return.

Students at Cleary School for the Deaf stepped up to the challenge. Students gathered in the Cleary School cafeteria to create numerous snowflakes.
